By accessing or using HAR File Analyzer (the "Service"), hosted atharfileanalyzer.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

HAR File Analyzer is an open, web-based utility created to parse, inspect, visualize, audit, and sanitize HTTP Archive (HAR 1.2 specification) and JSON network logs. The application operates entirely in the user's browser client without transmitting archive content to any remote server or persistent storage.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service solely for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Analyze, upload, or inspect network traffic captures that you do not own or do not have explicit authorization to inspect.
  • Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international privacy laws, including the unauthorized extraction or distribution of intercepted communications.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or impair the integrity, security, or availability of the website infrastructure or host servers.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent security controls or sanitization routines provided by the tool.

4. User Responsibility for Sensitive Content

You acknowledge that HAR files frequently contain sensitive personal, authentication, and session information, including unhashed passwords, session cookies, API tokens, and authorization headers.

Your Sole Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not expose, disclose, or inadvertently transmit sensitive credentials captured in your HAR files. You acknowledge that our built-in redaction tool is provided as a convenience and does not substitute for your own rigorous review of confidential data before sharing logs.

5. Intellectual Property

All original source code, graphical interface designs, visual themes, typography selections, logos, and written documentation on harfileanalyzer.com are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

The HTTP Archive (HAR) format specification is an open standard authored by the W3C Web Performance Working Group. Our implementation respects and maintains compatibility with standard HAR 1.2 schemas.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

"As Is" and "As Available" Notice

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL METRICS, AUDIT FINDINGS, WATERFALL CHARTS, PERFORMANCE SCORES, AND SANITIZATION TOOLS, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, FREE OF DEFECTS, OR THAT ANY AUDIT RECOMMENDATIONS WILL GUARANTEE INFRASTRUCTURE SECURITY OR PERFORMANCE GAINS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HAR FILE ANALYZER, ITS CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, OR HOSTING PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service.
  • Any diagnostic conclusions or architectural decisions made based on analysis metrics or audit scores.
  • Any accidental loss, disclosure, or breach of sensitive data contained within HAR files handled on your device.
  • Any browser crashes, memory exhaustion, or performance issues arising from parsing exceptionally large files.

8. Modifications to Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature thereof) at any time without notice. We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
